Upon arrival hotel was in great location for our travels, receptionist was very helpful and room was in good condition (I would say that the rooms could do with a decorative upgrade but it was ample for what we required) Dinner in the bar area was excellent and great value for money! Food was hot on arrival at our table and servers were very nice. Room was on main road however not noisy (even with the wind and rain!) Breakfast was perfect, it went beyond our expectations and server was very friendly. I even forgot breakfast was included in price - we would have been happy to pay for it as an extra it was that good! Also requested a late check out due to our plans and for a charge I was able to remain in the room until 1pm

Great experience here as part of our west highland way. We were running a little late with our walk having trekked all the way from drymen. We were really hoping for an evening meal and phoned ahead to keep the hotel updated with an arrival time. With food due to stop being served at 9 and our arrival time slowly heading towards 10pm. They held off cooking our food as late as possible and it was still warm when we arrived. Very friendly and polite staff on arrival, the bar and for breakfast in the morning. Great experience. Thank you

Jamie

A classy establishment, furnished to a high standard, with classic upmarket provision like a busy bar, candles on the tables, plenty of food options cooked to a high standard. Outstanding shower, very comfortable bed, quiet and peaceful, yet located at a popular spot in the village of Crianlarich. Very helpful staff, well-organised, friendly and accommodating - a place to feel welcome. Expensive, but, if the wifi is sorted out, it's a case of 'you get what you pay for'. Breakfast particularly well-organised and flexible.

First of all, the location is perfect, for motorists as well as for train (me) or coach users. Quite high quality hotel, but I found the rate slightly too high ; of course, it was summertime, when rates are on the high side everywhere ! By booking directly with the hotel, and could perhaps have got a slightly better rate than via booking.com, but I have been lazy .... As far as the restaurant is concerned, I went there for dinner as well as for breakfast, and it was OK in both cases. Highly recommendable !

My husband and I stayed for one night on route to Glencoe. We stayed in a superior king room. The room was big and comfortable. We had a good restful night sleep. We also had dinner at the restaurant and used the bar. Service was of a good standard. Breakfast was lovely and cooked fresh on order. There is also a car charging point at the hotel which was a bonus. Will definitely stay at this hotel again.
